Hello Rainbow Creek Families!

The school community would like to acknowledge and thank Ms. Stacy Werner, our extremely talented music teacher, for the beautiful and touching Remembrance Day Ceremony last week. 

Our grade six volleyball teams participated in tournament play this past weekend. Both teams represented Rainbow Creek and displayed extraordinary sportsmanship. We would like to thank Ms. Muir and Ms. Diegel for volunteering to coach this season. Well done, everyone!

Basketball will be starting soon. Please watch for more information to come out soon. 

The Chestermere Fire Department has graciously offered to fix our outdoor Learning Library after it was vandalized a few weeks ago. We are so thankful for their support. 

The Giving Tree - Monday Nov 18, 2024 - Monday Dec 16, 2024 - Rainbow Creek will be accepting gift card and cash donations for families in need at our school. If a cash donation is given a gift card will be purchased. The following stores are great options for gift cards: 

Wal-Mart, Superstore, Safeway, Toy’s R us, Macdonald’s, Dollarama, and Shopper’s Drug Mart; however, all gift cards are greatly appreciated!

Freezie Friday – Continues each Friday. Maximum of 2 freezies per student at .25 each.

What an easy and wonderful way to finish your holiday shopping. Not only do you avoid the hassle of finding a parking spot at the mall, but you can do it from the comfort of your own home!  

Purdy’s Chocolate – Deadline is Monday, November 18^th!!

As a bonus, you support The Friends of Rainbow Falls School Society raising funds to help with field trips, special programming, technology, and equipment for our students to enjoy and enrich learning for everyone. This program gives up to 25% of the profit back to the school. 

          School Council Meeting – Tuesday, November 26, 6pm. All parents are welcome.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Winter Concert – Kindergarten, Grade 3, 4, and 4/5 Bridgewater

The kindergarten students will be performing a winter concert during the school day on Tuesday, December 10^th.

AM Kindergarten – December 10^th @ 10:30AM

PM Kindergarten – December 10^th @ 2:15PM

 The Grade 3, 4 and 4/5 Bridgewater classes will be performing the musical "Holly Jolly Jalopy" on Thursday, December 12th. There will be both an afternoon and evening performance. The Grade 3 and 4 Choir Club will also be performing. All students are asked to come back to school for the evening concert. The performance will be recorded and shared virtually on our school YouTube page on Monday, December 16th.  More information regarding concert reservations will be sent later in November.
