Reading Aloud with your Children! 

Reading aloud is crucial for children's development, as it builds foundational skills, expands vocabulary and models fluent reading while fostering a love for literature. For more information, check out Reading Rockets.

Purdy’s Fundraiser – November 4th – Please watch for information on our upcoming fundraiser for Purdy’s chocolate. Sales will begin on the 4th and will run until around November 15th. More information to follow.

Remembrance Day poppies will be available this coming week at the school office for donation. All donations will be given to the Calgary Legion. The students will receive a poppy sticker on November 8th

Reminder to Kindergarten parents that Friday, November 8 is an AM day

Freezie Friday – Students are allowed to purchase a maximum of 2 freezies at a cost of .25 cents per freezie. Don’t forget your money! Exact change is appreciated.

Land Acknowledgment

Rocky View Schools would like to acknowledge the land and recognize all the Indigenous Peoples whose footprints have marked these lands from time immemorial. Together, we can learn and honour the Ways of Knowing of Indigenous Peoples for all future generations.
