Hello Rainbow Creek Families!
This week at RCE our grade 5 and 6 students traveled to the Chestermere High School to watch the production of Grease. What a performance! We are grateful to the students and staff at CHS for welcoming us into the school!
Our grade 6 students wrote part A of the Language Arts PAT exam on Wednesday morning and then played kickball at CLMS in the afternoon. Thank you to the admin team at the middle school for allowing our students to participate in this fun activity!
It was such a joy giving back to our amazing Parent Volunteers at our Volunteer tea on Friday afternoon. Without the support of our volunteers and our School Council, we would not have access to the same opportunities and initiatives. You are all “tea-riffic!” A HUGE thank you to Ms. Vo and her committee team members for hosting such a beautiful event.
As we say goodbye to May and hello to June, please watch for important updates about year-end events and start up tips for the fall.
Enjoy the beautiful weather!

Important Field Trip Information
We are hoping to streamline our field trip procedures to ensure all kids can participate in the exciting programs we offer. Moving forward, we kindly ask that all payment and student/volunteer paperwork be completed 3 school days prior to the field trip. This will allow us enough time to ensure everything is processed and accounted for properly and in a timely fashion. Students who do not pay for programs will not be able to participate in them. If for any reason, a field trip causes financial strain for your family, please reach out to administration so we can find a way to support your child’s participation in the program.
Parent volunteers: we ask for your understanding and cooperation in completing the appropriate paperwork (annual forms, located in the office, and the informed consent form, located on School Cash Online) 3 school days prior to the field trip. You will NOT be able to accompany the class if this is not completed by this time. Our office staff are not able to assist the day of the trip. You must complete the informed consent for EVERY field trip you wish to volunteer for.
School Cash Online
If you haven't already, please make sure you have registered for School Cash Online. Informed Consent forms for field trips will be found there. Payments must be made through School Cash Online as we will no longer be accepting cash. If you have any questions, please contact the office.
Lost & Found
Thank you to our incredible grade 6 leadership students for helping to clean up and sort our lost items. We ask that you take the time to come and look through the items we have collected. All items will be donated after next Friday, June 6th.
