Swimming Lessons - the week of January 20-23, 2025.  

Grade 6 Fun Swim – January 24th, 2025  

 

Welcome back, Rainbow Creek Families! 

We hope you had a restful, relaxing, and safe holiday. As we begin the second half of the school year, we are excited for the continued growth and progress to come in the months ahead. Our focus will be on enhancing literacy strategies and supports, offering students opportunities to get involved in school activities and initiatives, and continuing to move our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) matrix forward.

Bus Passes and Safety- Please ensure your child has their bus pass with them daily as they are now required to scan them when they board and exit the bus.  

Freezie Friday will resume on Friday January 17th. Each student will be allowed to purchase a maximum of 2 freezies at 25 cents each (50 cents total). Please remember to send your quarters every Friday to support this school fundraiser!

Bannock and Berries

 January 13th

The RVS Indigenous Learning Team is coming in to teach the kids about Bannock. The students will have a chance to learn about and taste Bannock.  

 

Kindergarten Registration opens Monday, February 3rd, 2025.

Children must turn 5 years of age by December 31, 2025 to attend Kindergarten in the 2025/2026 school year.   Lunch Supervisor (paid) position available.  Must be available Mon-Thurs 12:00-1:00pm and Fridays 10:30-11:30am. Please call the school if interested.
