Greetings Rainbow Creek Parents and Guardians. Although it was a short week for staff and students, it was a very busy one. We have a lot of information shared in this week’s Whiskers so please make sure you read to the end of the message.

There is a chill in the air and the snow is expected to start flying next week. Please remind your students to have proper outdoor attire on to keep them safe and comfortable until the doors are opened in the morning.

Freezie Friday - We will be able to run Freezie Fridays throughout the school year! This is a great fundraiser with grade 6 volunteers selling an average of 400 freezies each week. Please support this initiative by sending quarters with your students every Friday for the rest of the school year. Each student will be able to purchase a maximum of 2 freezies (50 cents) per week. Reminders will be posted on the ‘Parents of RC Students’ Facebook page every Thursday.

Hot Lunch Reminder - If your child is away and you would like to pick up their Hot Lunch, please inform the office before 11:00. If we do not hear from you, their lunch will be donated.

Diversity and Inclusion School Committee, We invite all families to complete this questionnaire to help our diversity committee gain a better understanding of the backgrounds represented within our school at Rainbow Creek Elementary School.
