Greetings RCE Families!

As we continue to celebrate the beautiful weather this far into September and navigate a new reality at Rainbow Creek with over 300 additional students, we kindly remind all families to keep safety a top priority when traveling near the school. Many of our students walk or ride their bike to school and this may be new for many of our students.

We also ask that everyone use the marked crosswalks when crossing the street to ensure the safety of all students and families.

We continue to ask parents/guardians to please drive with caution around the school grounds, especially during drop-off and pick-up times. When dropping children off, be sure to use designated areas and avoid stopping in crosswalks or restricted areas.

Our Peace Officer will continue to be on patrol to help families navigate some of the challenges. Thank you for helping us keep our school community safe.

Positive Behaviour Intervention and Support

Here at Rainbow Creek, we use PBIS to support positive behaviour and success for all our students. The matrix above highlights our expectations and throughout the year we will teach these expectations to your children. We welcome you to use the language of the matrix with your child at home as well. Consistent language between home and school further supports success for all children at RCE.
